A Roman Holiday ( Roman Holiday ) - Dalton Trumbo, the Oscar went to Ian McLellan Hunter originally. In December 1992, the Academy decided to Ian McLellan Hunter to be deleted from the credits and to award the prize posthumously to Dalton Trumbo.
Originally, in the category Louis L ` Amour also calls for Man nominated Hondo ( Hondo ), but the screenplay based on the short story L' Amours The Gift of Cochise and was therefore not allowed in this category. After L ` Amour had the Academy informed the film was disqualified.
