57th Academy Awards

The Oscar ceremony in 1985, that is, the presentation of the film awards Oscar this year, took place on 25 March 1985 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. It was the 57th Annual Academy Awards. In the year of award films of the past year are always excellent, in this case, the films of the year 1984.

The presenter Laurence Olivier forgot the nominees in the Best Picture category to read before he announced the winner Amadeus. Producer Saul Zaentz got the name but then in his acceptance speech after.
