Pyotr Todorovsky

Pyotr Jefimowitsch Todorowski (Russian Пётр Ефимович Тодоровский, scientific transliteration Pёtr Efimovič Todorovskij; born August 26, 1925 in Bobrynez, Ukrainian SSR, † May 24, 2013 in Moscow) was a Russian film director, screenwriter and composer.

Life

Todorowski visited from 1943, the military school in Saratov in 1944 and drafted into the army, where he was wounded. Until 1949 Todorowski was active as an officer and then enrolled at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, where he studied with cameraman Boris Woltschek until 1954. Then he was almost ten years at the Odessa Film Studio worked as a cameraman. His film debut as a cinematographer was Todorowski 1955 in Moldova melodies of Wassiliewski, 1956 followed in the spring Saretschnoi Street.
