Irene Sharaff

Irene Sharaff ( born January 23, 1910 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA; † August 10, 1993 in New York City ) was an American costume designer.

Irene Sharaff worked as a costume designer for the major Broadway productions as well as for Hollywood. She was next to Edith Head as the most successful designer. For her work, she has received numerous Oscar nominations and five Oscars. She designed the costumes especially for women.
