Louise Fletcher

Louise Fletcher ( born July 22, 1934 in Birmingham, Alabama ) is an American actress. Your well- known roles she played as tyrannical head nurse in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and as Kai Winn in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Life and career

Fletcher was the daughter of deaf parents Robert and Estelle Fletcher, so you speaking of a hearing aunt was taught that they also brought with acting in touch. After graduating from the University of North Carolina, she moved to Los Angeles in California, where she worked as a secretary during the day and in the evening took acting lessons. For her recurring role in the television series Picket Fences, she was nominated for an Emmy. She also had a recurring role in the science fiction series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as Kai Winn, the religious leader of the Bajoran.

Louise Fletcher was married from 1960 to the divorce in 1978 with producer Jerry Bick and has two sons from this marriage. She caused a stir when, after her divorce, an affair with more than 25 years younger and 21-year- old Morgan Mason, son of the actor James Mason entered.
