Lisa Westcott

Lisa Westcott is a British artist and hairdresser who has been nominated three times for an Academy Award and received it in 2013 for Les Misérables as well. In addition, she received five out of eight possible BAFTA awards for their craft.

Career

Lisa Westcott began as a makeup artist for TV series. In 1994 she was engaged for the first time for a movie, the make -up and hairstyles for the British tragicomedy King George - prepare a kingdom for more understanding. For her performance in this film she received a BAFTA Award for Best Makeup and Hair Design. For her work on the mask for Mrs Brown, Westcott received her first Oscar nomination for Best Make -up in 1998. A year later, she was nominated for a second time, this time for her work in Shakespeare in Love. Westcott's recent nomination for an Academy Award she received in 2013, together with Julie Dartnell for Les Misérables, which she also won. In the same category both received a BAFTA Award.
