Anders Thomas Jensen
Anders Thomas Jensen ( born April 6, 1972 in Frederiksværk ) is a Danish film director, screenwriter and actor. In 2005 he received the Nordisk Film Award.
His three films Ernst and the Light, Wolfgang and election night were each nominated for a Best Short Film Oscar in the category in which he won the Film Award for election night 1999. The film After the Wedding, for which he wrote the screenplay with Susanne Bier was nominated Best Foreign Language Film Oscar in the category in 2007. 2011 Susanne Bier won an Oscar for In a Better World Best Foreign Language Film, this also Jensen had written the screenplay.
Jensen is married to actress Line Kruse, who has starred dogs, among other things in his films Butchers and In China They Eat.
