Erik Pausin

Erik Pausin ( born April 18, 1920 in Vienna, † 1997 ) was an Austrian figure skater, who started pair skating.

Erik Pausin occurred in the late 1930s with his sister Ilse Pausin in pair skating. They were at that time the second-best figure skating pair in the world behind Maxi Herber and Ernst Baier.

From 1936 to 1941 she won the Austrian Championship. 1937 to 1939 they were runners- up behind Herber and Baier and from 1935 to 1939 vice-champion in 1935 after the Hungarian Emilie Rotter and László Szollás and 1936-1939 behind Herber and Baier. Also at the 1936 Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, they won the silver medal behind the Germans. After connecting the Pausins ​​started from 1939 for the German Reich. Thus they were in the World Cup 1939 part of the only all-German podium at World Figure Skating Championships.
