Eristoff

Eristoff is the name of a vodka brand of Bacardi Company Limited.

History

Originally, the drink of the Georgian royal family Eristoff ( ერისთავი ) was (more specifically by Nikolai Alexandrovitch Eristoff ) in 1806 developed for the domestic market, soon after, the product won great reputation. 1920, after the Russian Revolution Prince Nikolai Alexandrovich Eristoff was forced to go into exile in Europe. In Milan, the vodka was further produced until the abolition of the exile in 1956. From 1960, the Italian manufacturer Martini & Rossi took over production in a big way, the first time the product was manufactured for export.

Today, Eristoff Vodka is sold primarily in the United States, Portugal, Italy and Austria.
