Erminia Frezzolini

Erminia Frezzolini ( born March 27, 1818 in Orvieto ( Italy ); † November 5, 1884 in Paris) was an Italian opera singer (soprano ).

Life

Erminia Frezzolini learned singing with her ​​father Giuseppe Frezzolini, Manuel Patricio Rodríguez García, at Nencia Domenico Ronconi and Nicola Tacchinardi. She made her debut in 1838 as Beatrice in Vincenzo Bellini's Beatrice di Tenda.

On February 1, 1843, she sang the Giselda in the world premiere of Verdi's opera I Lombardi alla prima Crociata La Scala in Milan and at the same place on 15 February 1845, the title role in the world premiere of Verdi's Giovanna d' Arco.

Frezzolini was married to the Italian tenor Antonio Poggi.

According to her, the street Via Erminia Frezzolini is named in Rome.
