Ernest Christopher, Count of Rietberg

Ernst Christoph (* April 1, 1606; † December 31, 1640 ) came out of the house and was Cirksenas 1625-1640 Count of Rietberg.

Life

Ernst Christoph was the fourth of eleven children of Johann III. and Sabina Catharina born. Since his older brother Edzard already died as an infant, he was from birth heritage of the county.

Shortly before the death of his father John III. promised Ernst Christoph, finally to build a Franciscan monastery in Rietberg. The father died in 1625 and Ernst Christoph took over the county.
