Ernest John Primeau
Ernest John Primeau ( born September 17, 1909 in Chicago, USA, † 15 June 1989), was Bishop of Manchester.
Life
Ernest John Primeau received on 7 April 1934, the sacrament of Holy Orders.
On November 27, 1959, he was named by Pope John XXIII. Bishop of Manchester. The Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Albert Meyer, donated to him on 25 February 1960, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Joliet in Illinois, Martin Dewey McNamara, and the auxiliary bishop in Chicago, Raymond Peter Hillinger.
On January 30, 1974 Ernest John Primeau resigned as Bishop of Manchester.
