Ernesto Mascheroni

Ernesto Mascheroni ( born November 21, 1907 in Montevideo, Uruguay; † July 3, 1984 ) was a Uruguayan football player.

Club career

He played in 1927 in Uruguay for Bella Vista. In 1931 he was again in the Primera División for Olimpia Montevideo on the square and moved in 1932 to Peñarol. He remained there until 1934, to then move to Italy. There he joined to AS Ambrosiana, today's Inter Milan. In 1936 he returned to Uruguay and was until 1940 again part of the team of Peñarol, with whom he has a total of three times Uruguayan national champion (1932, 1937 and 1938 ).

National

The defender was a member of the Uruguayan national football team. Overall, he graduated from his debut on July 21, 1930 until his last mission on February 12, 1939 13 international matches ( no goals ) for the Celeste -called national of his home country. A scoring was not granted to him. In the World Cup 1930 he was a member of the Uruguayan squad and won the World Champion title at the first edition of this tournament. Along with Pablo Dorado he was about the youngest player in the team of Uruguay. Also at the South Championships in 1929 and 1939 he took part.

He also came out in 1935 in two appearances for the Italian national team for use.
