Anyz Ernest " Chief" Koy ( born September 17, 1909 in Sealy, † 1 January 2007 Bellville ) was an American baseball player.
Career
Ernie Koy was an American baseball player in Major League Baseball, where he played from 1938 to 1942. He attended the University of Texas at Austin. In 1960 he was inducted into the University of Texas Longhorn Hall of Fame. His son Ernie Koy, Jr. played football for the New York Giants from 1965 to 1970. Ernie Koy died on 1 January 2007 by the consequences of a rib fracture.
