Ernst Rudolf Vogenauer

Ernst Rudolf Vogenauer (* 1897 in Munich, † 1972 in Berlin) was a German graphic designer, illustrator and painter. From 1946 to 1962 he was a lecturer at the Art Academy Berlin- Weissensee.

As a graphic designed Vogenauer also stamps for the imperial post and the German Post of the GDR, this includes the first airmail stamp for the German Democratic Republic. First Edition: December 13, 1957
