The Esk Highway is a highway with the northeast of the Australian state of Tasmania. It connects the Midland Highway (N1 ) south of Launceston with the extending on the east coast of the Tasman Highway ( A3).

Course

Southeast of Conara branches of the Esk Highway from Midland Highway to the east and enters the valley of the South Esk River to Avoca, where the stories Creek Road ( B42 ) leads to the north. From there, the road continues to the South Esk River follows upstream to Fingal, where the stories Creek Road meets again from the west on the Esk Highway. Now the highway the Break O'Day River follows east to St. Marys.

There, the A4 is divided into two branches: the Esk Highway runs northeast across the St. Marys Pass and meets west of Falmouth on the Tasman Highway. The other branch, the Elephant Pass Road runs to the southeast on the Elephant Pass and is connected to Chain of Lagoons to the Tasman Highway.
