Esmée Denters
Esmée Denters ( born September 28, 1988 in Westervoort, Netherlands) is a Dutch singer and songwriter who was discovered and known about the video portal YouTube.
Musical Career
From a young age Esmée Denters was marked musically by her father, who has performed regularly with her and her sister. She developed a keen interest in singing, so that they almost constantly pursued this work in the coming years. Her best friend Mady supported them very much. 2006 turned Denters with the webcam her sister singing short videos, mostly cover current pieces from the soul, rhythm-and - blues and hip- hop field and published it on the video portal YouTube. These were huge appeal and Denters won many fans worldwide, especially in their home country The Netherlands. It was followed by numerous television appearances in the United States.
She also received offers from record companies who held it first for feints. Finally she went to them but after 2007, and flew to the U.S. to meet with producers. There, a report was published about it in Billboard magazine. First photo shoot followed, and at the after - party of the Grammy Awards, she met numerous music greats such as P. Diddy, Kelly Rowland and Justin Timberlake, who later produced a song for Denters.
Then she traveled to Sweden to work with professional musicians and producers in other plays. When she returned after another U.S. tour in the Netherlands, she told the talk show Jensen to be with Justin Timberlake's new record company Tennman Records. There appeared a new singing video on YouTube in which Timberlake at the end made a guest appearance and thereby surpassed all previous attendance.
In June 2007, Denters was as opening act for Justin Timberlake on tour through Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands. Meanwhile, more singing videos appeared with celebrity guest appearances, including a duet with Natasha Bedingfield. After that, they began work on their first album, more videos on YouTube they showed in the recording studio. On 6 November 2007 Denters appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, where she announced, to provide download their song Crazy Place on its official website. The text draws attention to the poverty in the third world countries, therefore, the entire proceeds of a human rights organization benefited.
It was followed by another YouTube video in which she sang the duet Stop and Stare with the singer of the band One Republic. The international breakthrough had Esmée Denters Outta Here in 2009.
On 15 September 2010 she was with Stanfour in the RTL soap opera Good Times, Bad Times to see. In 2010 she was awarded with the European Border Breakers Award ( EBBA ).
