The Estadio Jaime Morón León is a multi-purpose stadium in the Colombian city of Cartagena. It can accommodate 16,068 spectators and serves the football club Real Cartagena as homestead.

History

The Estadio Jaime Morón León, Cartagena, a city of slightly less than one million inhabitants in the north of Colombia, was built in 1958. Just two years after completion of the stadium hosted the national athletics championships in Colombia held at junior level. Later, the Cartagenaer stadium was also two more times venue for important competitions. In 2006, Estadio Jaime Morón León increased in the twentieth Central American and Caribbean Games from 15th to 30th July 2006.
