Esther Jones
Esther Jones ( born April 7, 1969 in Chicago) is a former American sprinter.
The greatest success of her career, she celebrated by winning the gold medal in the 4 x 100 -meter relay at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Together with Evelyn Ashford, Carlette Guidry -White and Gwen Torrence she won in 42.11 seconds before the squadrons of the United team and Nigeria.
As a single starter she was in Tokyo at the World Athletics Championships in 1991. In the 200 - meter race she reached the semifinal round, but missed out on their fifth run into the finals scarce.
Esther Jones had a competition weight of 58 kg at a height of 1.76 m.
