The association of students at ETH ( VSETH ) is the governing body of the students of the ETH Zurich. The association represents the interests of the student body to the outside and opposite the university. In contrast to the situation in many other countries, Switzerland does not have a legal form for student organizations (such as the German student council ), so VSETH is an association under Swiss association law. He is the official representative of all students at the Bachelor 's and Master's level in the structure of the ETH through a contract with the university. History

The club was (then Polytechnic ) founded seven years after the founding of the ETH Zurich in winter 1862. Tasks

VSETH operated on two areas:

Events

Erstsemestrigenfest

Golden Owl

Financing

For a student organization VSETH is unusually strong financially.
