Ethan Peck
Ethan Peck ( born March 2, 1986 in Los Angeles, California as Ethan Gregory Peck ) is an American actor. He is best known for its role as Patrick Verona in the television series 10 Things I Hate About You known.
Life and career
Ethan Peck was born in March 1986 in Los Angeles, California, the son of documentary filmmaker and actor Stephen Peck and artist Francine Matarazzo. He is the grandson of actor Gregory Peck and his first wife, the Finnish Greta Kukkonen. His sister is a writer and mainly writes fantasy books. In North Hollywood, he attended a private school and learned to play the cello. After high school he attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, which he left to pursue his acting career after three years. His first role was Peck in 1995 in an episode of the short-lived television series Charlie Grace - The sniffer. It was followed by the role of Josh Coleman, the son of Jack, was portrayed by Jimmy Smits in the film Kalifornia Nightmare. In 1999 he made a guest appearance on the Drew Carey Show. In the same year he starred in the direct-to- video film twins love in Paris at the side of Mary -Kate and Ashley Olsen. After that he had as a young Kelso, before retiring in the sitcom The wild seventies two guest appearances for a number of years out of business.
In 2008 he returned alongside Adam Rothenberg and Mariah Carey in the movie Tennessee back to the movie. Then he was hired for the role of Sailor in the film Adopt a Sailor, for which he received a Best Actor Award at the Sonoma Valley Film Festival 2009. In November 2008, he was cast in the role of Patrick Verona on ABC Family's youth series 10 Things I Hate About You, which is based on the eponymous movie from the year 1999. In this role, he was seen up to the standard settings in all 20 produced episodes. In 2010, he was seen as Sean in Twelve and as Andre in Jon Turteltaubs fantasy adventure film The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Most recently, he starred in two episodes in the drama series Gossip Girl and the sci -fi film In Time.
