Ethel Thomson Larcombe

Ethel Thomson Larcombe ( born June 8, 1879 in Islington, London as Ethel Warneford Thomson, † August 11, 1965 Budleigh Salterton ) was an English tennis and badminton player.

Her biggest success in tennis, she celebrated in 1912 with the English Tennis Championships at Wimbledon, when she beat in the final Charlotte Cooper. They also won the 1914 Mixed competition along with James Parke.

In 1903 and 1904 she also won the doubles competition at Wimbledon, but which are performed as a real part of the All England Lawn Tennis Championships until 1913.

In badminton, she won eleven times at the All England, five times in a single, four times in duplicate and twice in mixed doubles.
