Ettore Margadonna

Ettore Maria Marga Donna ( born November 30, 1893 in Palena, Italy, † 28 October 1975, in Rome ) was an Italian screenwriter.

Life

After studying economics Marga Donna journalist was in magazines such as Comoedia, L' italiana illustrazione and Avanti! . From 1937 he wrote screenplays and worked in the following years with Italian directors like Mario Bonnard, Gennaro Righelli and Oreste Biancoli together. For his story in the love comedy Bread, Love and Dreams, he was honored at the Oscar ceremony in 1955 with a nomination for Best Original Story. He was also honored in 1952 together with Titina De Filippo and Renato Castellani with the Italian film award Nastro d' Argento for Best Screenplay.
