Eurico Gaspar Dutra

Eurico Gaspar Dutra (* May 18, 1883, † June 11, 1974 ) was a Brazilian politician ( PSD).

He was on 31 January 1946 to 31 January 1951 Chairman of Brazil. Previously, he had the de facto dictatorial President Getúlio Dornelles Vargas forced his predecessor as defense minister to resign after fears arose, he would be after 15 years in office ( 1930-1945 ), where he had never been elected and legitimized only by the military, contrary to its announcements yet put on the presidential election in 1945.
