European Network of Democratic Young Left

The European Network of Democratic Young Left ( ENDYL; European Network of Democratic Young Left ) is a network of left and democratic youth organizations in Europe.

The association fights against discrimination, racism and fascism and wants to show alternative models of production, sustainable development and human coexistence. In his political platform, the network is committed to democracy, individual freedom, solidarity, human rights, internationalism and ecological responsibility.

From Germany, the independent youth organization Young Democrats / Young Left and the Left -related youth organization Linksjugend ['solid ] member ENDYL.

Internal structure

Members

Members can be European, left and democratic youth organizations, which are received by the General Meeting. ENDYL members remain autonomous youth organizations.

Organs

The organs of ENDYL are the general meeting of the Coordinating Council and the Executive Board.

The Annual General Meeting (General Assembly, GA ) is the supreme decision-making body of ENDYL. Annually meet the representatives of all member organizations to decide on the principles of the work of ENDYL. The Annual General Meeting elects the Board of Directors, whose substitutes and two financial auditors.

The Coordination ( Coordination Council, CC ) is the only decision-making body between meetings. The Coordination Council shall meet bi-monthly by teleconference. Member of the Coordinating Council are the representatives of the member organizations.

The Board of Directors (Board ) will do the daily political work and is responsible for the finances. He is elected by the Annual General Meeting.
