European University Sports Association

The European University Sports Association ( EUSA ) was founded by 25 national university sports associations in Vienna in 1999. It addresses European University Championships from ( STM ) and promotes substantive discussion of the further development of university sports at European level. Today, 45 countries are members, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

2012 was the first time the European Universities Games ( EUSA games or EUG called ) performed. Here, the previously individually discharged European University Championships (EUC ) are bundled. The 2012 event will take place in Córdoba ( Spain) and includes competitions in the sports of badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, volleyball, football, futsal, handball, rugby 7s, tennis and table tennis. The EUSA games to be in the future, all held in even-numbered years in which to take place no Universiade.
