Eutzsch is a district of the city Kemberg in Wittenberg district in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Eutzsch is located about 6 km south of the Lutherstadt Wittenberg. As a district of the former municipality Pannigkau was reported.

History

965 Eutzsch was first mentioned as Usizi.

On 1 January 2010, until then independent municipality Eutzsch was incorporated together with the communities Dabrun, Rackith, Radis, Rotta, Schleesen, Selbitz, Uthausen and wait castle in the city Kemberg. At the same time the management of Community Kemberg, belonged to the Eutzsch was dissolved.

Traffic

The Federal Highway 2, Wittenberg and Bad Duben connects, and the federal highway 100 pass right through the community. The Eutzsch station is located on the single-track railway line Pratau - Torgau. A railcar of the German regional railway station serves the Eutzsch working day with five pairs of trains between Wittenberg and Bad Schmiedeberg.
