Eva Ganster

Eva Ganster (born 30 March 1978 in Kitzbühel, Tyrol, Austria ) is an Austrian ski jumper and sports scientist.

Life

Eva Ganster is the daughter of a veterinarian Edgar Ganster, the (FIS ) is committed to both the Austrian Ski Federation and the international ski federation " Fédération Internationale de Ski " for women's ski jumping. She attended high school at the boarding school for ski athletes in Stams in Tyrol. In the early 1990s did not allow women's competitions, why Ganster was allowed to occur repeatedly only in the context of Mr Apply as Vorspringerin, but it showed significant benefits of the FIS. Among other things, she went to as Vorspringerin at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer.

In February 1997, Eva Ganster jumped as the first woman on a ski flying hill at Kulm in Bad Mitterndorf / Tauplitz in Styria. She presented with the achieved distance of 167 meters above the first world record in the women's ski jumping up and came thus to the " Guinness Book of Records ". 1998 was held an unofficial Women's Championship in the Junior World Championship, where they reached the second place.
