Eva Repková

Eva Repková ( born January 16, 1975 in Stara Ľubovňa ) is a Slovak chess champion.

Repková learned chess at the age of five years while watching the Sunday game of the parents. In her first marriage, she was married to a Lebanese. For Lebanon, she played from 1997 to 2001 in 1998 their son Christopher was born, who with an Elo rating of 2042 (as of September 2010) now. 's Also a chess player. Since 2002 she has been married to the FIDE Master Eric Peterson (ELO 2249 ). Peterson is co-founder of the Internet Chess Club. With him and her brother she leads an internationally operating computer company.

Repková received the title of chess grandmaster of the women, in 2007 the title of International Master in 1995.

It defeated or occupied top positions in several tournaments: 1st place in the Women's Championship in Pardubice Czechoslovakia (1991 ), 2nd place in the U18 World Cup (girls) in Bratislava (1993 ), 1st place at the 4th Arab Women's Championship in Beirut (2000 ), 1st place in Rijeka (2003 ), 1st place in Malinska (2005 ), 1st place Aarhus Summer -A ( 2009).

With their Elo rating of 2446 in November 2010 Repková occupies the 43rd place in the FIDE world ranking of women and first place in the Slovak woman rankings.
