Éva Ruttkai

Éva Ruttkai ( born December 31, 1927 in Budapest, † September 27, 1986 ibid ) was a Hungarian actress.

Life

Éva Ruttkai had as a child performances on stage and in the 1934 film István Székely Purple Acacia. After the war, she performed as a reciter and was engaged at different stages. In 1948, she played regularly in Hungarian films, including The Siege of Márton Keletis Beszterc (1948) and Félix Máriássys Catherine's marriage ( 1950). From 1951 to 1953 Ruttkai studied acting training at the Budapest Theatre and Film School and soon became one of the most popular actresses of her generation in Hungary. Their repertoire was very varied and included both comedies and time-related and dramatic films. She convinced especially in Máriássys Julika with the snub nose (1955), Keletis history of my stupidity (1965 ), József Magyar's family drama Once Upon a Family ( 1972) and Zsolt Kovács 's Kézdi - If Joseph comes (1976).

Up to his suicide in 1976 Éva Ruttkai was married to fellow actor Zoltán Latinovits.
