Eva Urbanová

Eva Urbanová ( born April 20, 1961 in Slany ) is a Czech soprano.

Life

Urbanová studied singing with Ludmila Kotnauerová and debuted in 1987 in Pilsen. Since the end of the 1980s, She is one of the top soloists of the National Theatre. Urbanová among others at New York's Metropolitan Opera, Milan's La Scala, occurred at the Zurich Opera and the Opéra Bastille.

She won the 2003 Dora Mavor Moore Award and the title of Knight of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
