Evan Bourne

Matthew Joseph Korklan ( born March 19, 1983 in St. Louis, Missouri), better known by his current ring name Evan Bourne, is an American professional wrestler. Korklan is currently under contract with WWE.

Beginnings / Independent

Korklan trained to become wrestlers in the promotion Gateway Championship Wrestling and began his wrestling career in October 2000 in this promotion. The Japanese Dragon Gate promotion he could win his first title in 2003.

In the United States, he joined since 2003, primarily in the independent promotions IWA Mid-South Wrestling and Ring of Honor. There he was allowed to hold title. There Korklan was primarily known under the ring name Matt Sydal.

On November 1, 2011 Korklan was suspended due to a violation of the wellness policy of the WWE for 30 days.
