Evelyn Einstein

Evelyn Einstein ( born March 28, 1941 in Chicago, † April 13, 2011 in Albany ( California)) was Albert Einstein's adopted granddaughter. She claimed she was a daughter of Albert Einstein.

Einstein was adopted after birth of Hans Albert Einstein. She received a master's degree in medieval literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and then worked as Hundefängerin, " Cult DeProgrammer " and police officer. For 13 years she was married to the anthropology professor Grover Krantz; after her divorce, she lived in poverty. In the 1980s, she helped that personal letters of Albert Einstein were found in Berkeley. In 1996 she won a lawsuit to shares from the estate of Einstein, but struggled thereafter unsuccessfully against the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for more rights. Weeks before her death began Allen P. Wilkinson to write with her on her memoirs.
