Every Avenue

Every Avenue is an American pop punk band from Marysville, Michigan.

Band History

Every Avenue was founded in Marysville, Michigan in 2003. Early on they changed the lead singer, the former lead singer James Beesley later became tour manager of the band. He is currently working with former drummer Mike Govaere. The band released two EPs in 2004 and 2006 before being placed at Fearless Records a contract signed in 2007 and that same year released an EP in the summer. Shortly before the record deal, guitarist Jason Letkiewicz the band, because he received a scholarship for film design. Jimmie Deeghan replaced him and quickly became a major songwriter. In February 2008, published Every Avenue her first full-length album titled " Shh. Just Go With It ", which reached number 27 in the U.S. Billboard Heatseekers chart. In January 2008, they support on the side of Metro Station Boys Like Girls as the opening act in the UK. Then they began their national tour with bands such as Hit the Lights, Farewell, Mayday Parade, All Time Low and The Maine. They toured during the summer with Valencia from Philadelphia and were also at the Vans Warped Tour 2008. In November of Every Avenue released their new video for the song "Think of You Later ( Empty Room ) ". On 11 April 2009, it was announced that the band was in the studio and would record their second album with producer Mitch Allan and Mike Green. A few days later, on April 14, Govaere announced quitting the band to move forward with his studio (Down Bear Studio). The latest album " Picture Perfect " was released on November 3, 2009. On 27 April 2010 the album " Punk Goes Classic Rock " was ( from the Punk Goes ... series) published on an interpretation of the song Take Me Home Tonight ( originally recorded by Eddie Money ) by Every Avenue along with Juliet Simms ( Automatic Loveletter ) was. It was confirmed that Every Avenue will be playing at the Alternative Press Tour 2010. They will also play in the UK at the Slam Dunk Festival.

" Where Were You? " Radio was played not only at Yahoo! Radio and AOL, but was also on MTV 's " Real World / Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet ", reaching more than 150,000 downloads on Mark Hoppus ' " Hi My Name Is Mark " blog on iTunes. "One More Song" was on MTV 's "The Real World: Hollywood" ( in the episode " Mexi - Loco " ) and played on MTV 's "The Iceland ". The song " Picture Perfect " was played at a photo montage as part of the CBS NCAA Men 's Basketball Championship on April 6, 2010.
