Ewa Milewicz

Ewa Milewicz ( born December 4, 1947) is a Polish journalist.

Ewa Milewicz studied at the Warsaw University Law. In May 1980, she began a collaboration with the Polish Committee for the Defense of the workers and assisted the committee by their journalistic work. It was in August 1980, a pioneer of Solidarity in the Gdansk Shipyard in Poland and gained thereby great renown. Companion of her work include Andrzej Celiński Halina Mikołajska, Stanisław Barańczak and others.

Through a polio disease is confined to a wheelchair. Their popularity also brought her a role on television in Wonderland movie Kopciuszek, a film adaptation of Cinderella, a. Today she works at the Warsaw newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza.
