Ewing (constructor)
Ewing was an American chassis manufacturer in single-seater racing car - 1950s.
Ewing built race cars that were used mainly in the AAA National Series and the 500 miles of Indianapolis. 1950 Jimmy Davies drove a Ewing with Offenhauser engine in Indianapolis and came as 17 to the finish. 1960 disputed Eddie Sachs and Al Herman the 500 - mile race also with a Ewing - Offenhauser. Sachs fell in damage to the magneto out after 132 laps. Herman had already after 34 laps a broken clutch
