Examination Yuan
The Examination Yuan (Chinese考试 院/考试 院, pinyin Kǎoshì yuan) is one of the five Yuan (Council of State ) of the Republic of China on Taiwan in Taipei and monitors the performance and qualifications of the officials. There are also Yuan for the legislative, executive, judiciary and control. This Yuan is an addition to the separation of powers and can be compared to the European Personnel Selection Office or the Office of Personnel Management of the United States. The yuan was founded in the 20th century by the Chinese nationalists of the Republic of China, but due to the Chinese civil service exam of the Empire of China. The First Minister was Dai Jitao.
