Excision (musician)

Excision ( Jeff Abel real name, born 1986 in Kelowna, British Columbia ) is a Canadian DJ and music producer in the styles of Dubstep, Drum & Bass and Electro House. In 2011, he released his debut album X Rated on mau5trap.

Career

Excision began in 2004 to produce electronic music and act as DJ. In 2007 he founded his own label " Rottun Recordings" and in this released his first single " No Escape ". 2009 offered Pendulum him then on to produce a remix for her song showdown.

12 September 2011 excision first album " X Rated" was published. About a year later, he also released an album that contains only remixes of the songs contained on " X Rated". Both albums were recorded mostly positive by the media.

In 2012 he founded together with downlink and KJ Sawka, the former drummer of Pendulum, the band Destroid. They publish under that name no recordings, but only come to live.
