EXCOMM

The Executive Committee, in short ExComm, was convened on October 16, 1962 by U.S. President John F. Kennedy to solve the Cuban Missile Crisis. This informal, secret committee consisted of the National Security Council and other senior political and military actors. After settlement of the Cuban missile crisis, the ExComm was dissolved.
