Executive One

Executive One is the call sign of any civilian American aircraft, which has the President of the United States on board.

This was previously only once before, flew as President Richard Nixon in 1973, a DC-10 United Airlines from Washington Dulles International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport. In the flight the call sign, however, was not used.

Civil aircraft that have the Vice President on board to lead the radio call Executive Two. The radio call in flights, in which only the family of the president is on board, is Executive One Foxtrot. If only family members of the Vice President on board, he is Executive Two Foxtrot.
