Faa’a

Faa'a is a municipality in the northwest of the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia. It is bordered to the north and west by the Pacific Ocean, on the east by Papeete, on the southeast by Pirae, to the south Punaauia. In Faa'a is the international airport of Tahiti. It was built in 1960 and 1961.

According to the annual census in 2007 Faa'a is the municipality with the largest population in French Polynesia.
