Fab Five Freddy

Fab 5 Freddy, short F5F, actually Fred Braithwaite, ( born 1959 ) is an American graffiti artists from the hip-hop scene in New York. He is among the pioneers of street graffiti in the late 1970s.

Freddy began his graffiti career after studying painting. He worked with Afrika Bambaataa together in its early days and led him into the uptown hip- hop scene. In the 1981's hit Rapture by Blondie F5F was described in the video for this song, he participated as an actor by itself represented in a graffiti action.

In 1982 he accompanied the Rock Steady Crew, " Afrika Bambaataa ", the " McDonalds Double Dutch Girls", several DJs and other graffiti artists like Phase 2, Futura 2000 and Dondi on the Roxy Tour, which took place from Europe One Radio. These were the first international Hip- Hop tour that took them including in the European cities of London and Paris.
