Fab Melo

Fabricio " Fab" Paulino de Melo ( born June 20, 1990 in Juiz de Fora, Brazil) is a Brazilian professional basketball player. It is 2.13 tall and plays at the position of the center.

Career

After a very successful high school athletic time at the Sagemont School in Weston (Florida ), he attended Syracuse University for their college team he played for two years. Subsequently, he was recruited in the 2012 NBA Draft in the first round on 22 out of the Boston Celtics, who had previously been selected in 21 out Jared Sullinger. For several months, he played not active when the Celtics, but at their farm team Maine Red Claws NBA Development League in it. There he was to improve his skills and play matches. In February 2013 he was active for the first time for Celtics. For the 2013/14 season he was taken by the Dallas Mavericks under contract, but was released again before the season starts.

Since January 2014 Melo is with the Texas Legends in the D -League contract.
