Fabián Puerta

Fabián Hernando Puerta Zapata ( born July 21, 1991, Caldas, Antioquia ) is a Colombian racing cyclist.

2010 won Fabián Puerta in Aguascalientes, the Pan-American Championships in the team sprint, together with Christian Tamayo and Leonardo Narváez. In the following year, and in 2012 he was Pan-American champion in keirin, sprint, he took second place in 2011 and 2012 third place.

Puerta launched in 2012 at the Olympic Games in London in the Keirin, but different in the first round. When you first run of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2012/2013 in Cali in October 2012, he won three medals: gold in the keirin and 1000 respectively -meter time trial and silver in the sprint. He was the most successful athlete in this event.

2013 won Fabián Puerta in the Pan American Championships in Aguascalientes each gold medal in the Keirin and in the 1000 -meter time trial. In the time trial, he set a new Pan American record on 1:00,349 minutes. In 2014 he became vice - world champion in keirin.
