Fabio Morena Daniel ( born March 19, 1980 in Musberg ) is a German footballer of Italian descent.
Career
The defender started his career with TSV Musberg. There he played in the youth from 1984 to 1990. In 1990 he moved to Stuttgart at the Stuttgarter Kickers, 1995 on the city 's counterparties Kickers, VfB Stuttgart. There he played until 2002, but never made it into the first team, so he moved to Spain to Drittdivisionär FC Alicante. After one year, the then 23 - year-old came back to Germany, this time to FC St. Pauli.
Morena received in the match against Greuther Fürth the then fastest red card in German professional football: the game on 22 August 2008 ran only been 93 seconds, when he was sent off. This record was undercut on August 21, 2010 by Cologne's Youssef Mohamad (87 seconds). On 21 May 2012, the club announced that they would go their separate ways in the future.
On 31 May 2012 Morena signed a two year contract with the second division promoted SV Sandhausen, but could not prevail there. In August 2013, the contract was terminated by mutual consent. Morena then moved up to the second team of Hamburger SV in the fourth-rate Regionalliga Nord.
