Fabrizio Moretti

Fabrizio " Fab" Moretti ( born June 2, 1980 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is the drummer of the American indie rock band The Strokes. Besides, he founded together with Rodrigo Amarante of Los Hermanos and Binki Shapiro Little Joy, whose debut album was released in 2008.

Fabrizio Moretti was born in Rio de Janeiro, the son of an Italian and a Brazilian. At four years old he moved with his family to New York City. At school he met his future bandmates Nick Valensi and Julian Casablancas know.

From 2002 to 2007 he was romantically involved with actress Drew Barrymore.
