Fachhochschule Düsseldorf

The Fachhochschule Dusseldorf (FH D ) is a public university with locations in Golzheim and Bilk in Dusseldorf. The FH D went in 1971 from different schools out.

History

The Fachhochschule Dusseldorf emerged as the other colleges in the Federal Republic of Germany in the course of reforms in education in the Federal Republic of Germany, which began in the late 1960 's. In 1971 the State School of Engineering Dusseldorf, the group of works of architecture and interior architecture of the art school in Krefeld, the Higher Technical School of Social Work, the Peter- Behrens- Werkkunstschule Dusseldorf, the Higher College of Social and branch Dusseldorf the Higher business school Mönchengladbach were integrated into the FH D.

Under its founding rector Professor Hans Albert Klüfer FH D with 120 professors and 2,200 students took up the teaching. The seven departments were housed in different places. Divisions

The Fachhochschule Dusseldorf is divided into seven faculties of architecture ( " Peter Behrens School of Architecture " ), design, electrical, mechanical and process engineering, media, social and cultural sciences as well as economics. In the individual departments various courses are offered.
