Fænø

Fænø a 394 ha large Danish island in the Straits of Snævringen little Beltes, southwest of the town of Middelfart is located. It is of two inhabitants ( 1 January 2013) permanently inhabited. Fænø belongs to the parish municipality (Danish: Sogn ) Middelfart Sogn, the office belonged until 1970 to Harde Vends Herred in the former Odense, after the Middelfart municipality in the former County of Funen, with the municipal reform on 1 January 2007 in the "new " Middelfart community has risen in the region Syddanmark.

The portion of the small Beltes between Fænø and Funen is called Fænøsund.
