Faith Ikidi

Faith Ikidi ( born February 28, 1987 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria ) is a Nigerian football player.

Career

Ikidi graduated at the age of 16 years, their first appearances for the Bayelsa Queens. After the trial with Klepp FK convinced Ikidi moved to Norway and gained his first experience in the European women's football. She played two years in Norway, before she decided to move to Sweden to QBIK Karlstad in early 2005. They became an instant performance wearer at QBIK Karlstad and moved in January 2007 to Eskilstuna United. After just one season, she left Eskilstuna and signed a contract with Linköpings FC. In February 2010, she was pulled by Washington Freedom in the Dispersal Draft and transferred on August 8 2010 Chicago Red Stars. In October 2010 Ikidi was nominated as the best defender of the Damallsvenskan 2010. She joined in January 2011, the league rivals Piteå IF on.

Internationally

Ikidi represented her native country at two FIFA U-20 World Cups 2004 and 2006. Took you for Nigeria at the Olympic football tournament as part of the Summer Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 and the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing part. Ikidi played their first and only Senior Cup at the World Cup of Women in China in 2007 and is available in 20 - players squad for World Cup 2011 Women in Germany.
