Falkenbach (Omersbach)

The Falkenbach is the largest tributary of the Omersbaches in the Aschaffenburg district in the Bavarian Spessart.

Course

The Falkenbach rises near the emigrants Court's Dörnsteinbach. After a few meters, it reaches a narrow, densely wooded valley, the foothills of the devil reason. He changes his direction to the northwest, where he encounters the Omersbachtal. From here you can find on some maps of different records in which the Omersbach flows into the Falkenbach, which then empties into the Geiselbach. Records from Teufelsmühle however imply that the Omersbach fed the three mills. So the Falkenbach flows at the former Upper Teufelsmühle in the Omersbach.
